One night stay
We had a lovely relaxing time at the hotel. Room was clean and comfortable bed. Breakfast was very nice snd wide choice to be had. The seating out side was very relaxing watching the boats go by. We booked our evening meal at amores Italian restaurant excellent food. The town is lovely. And plenty of parking space at hotel.

1. Booking Confirmation:
All reservations are subject to availability and are only confirmed once a confirmation email has been issued by the Hotel or booking provider.
By making a reservation, the guest confirms they are authorised to do so on behalf of all persons included in the booking and accepts these Terms & Conditions on behalf of the entire party.
Guests are responsible for checking their booking confirmation carefully and must notify the Hotel immediately of any inaccuracies.

2. Third-Party Bookings & Amendments:
Reservations made through third-party booking platforms (including but not limited to Booking.com, Expedia, and similar providers) are subject to the terms, conditions, and cancellation policies displayed at the time of booking on the relevant platform.
The Hotel is unable to override or guarantee alternative terms for third-party bookings. Any amendments, cancellations, or modifications must be made through the original booking provider.
Any requests made directly to the Hotel in relation to third-party bookings are subject to availability and at the Hotel’s discretion.

3. Group Bookings (9 Rooms or More):
Group bookings of 9 rooms or more are subject to separate terms and conditions.
A non-refundable deposit and/or advance payment may be required to secure the reservation.
Different cancellation deadlines, payment schedules, and contractual terms may apply. These will be confirmed in writing at the time of enquiry or booking.
Failure to meet agreed payment deadlines may result in cancellation of the group booking without liability to the Hotel.

4. Room Requests & Allocation:
While every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate specific room requests (including views, layout preferences, standalone baths, or other features), these cannot be guaranteed and remain subject to availability at the time of check-in.
Room allocations may vary within the same category in size, layout, décor, furnishings, and features, particularly in individually designed.
Images shown on websites, booking platforms, or promotional materials are for illustrative purposes only and may not represent the exact room allocated.
Guests requiring specific room features are strongly encouraged to book directly with the Hotel and notify the property in advance.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Although every reasonable effort will be made to honour requests, room allocations may occasionally need to be amended due to operational, maintenance, or unforeseen circumstances.

5. Cancellation Policy (Direct Bookings Only):
Free cancellation is available up to 23:59, two days prior to arrival.
Cancellations made within 2 days of arrival will be charged at 100% of the total reservation value.
No-shows will be charged in full.
Any amendments or cancellations to ongoing stays must be made within the free cancellation period; otherwise, the affected nights will be charged in full.

6. Hotel Cancellation Rights:
The Hotel reserves the right to cancel or refuse a reservation where necessary due to operational reasons, safety concerns, suspected fraud, non-payment, force majeure events, or breach of these Terms & Conditions.
The Hotel will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses.

7. Payment & Pre-Authorisation:
The payment card provided may be pre-authorised or charged after the cancellation deadline in accordance with the booking terms.
The Hotel reserves the right to charge the card provided for:
Outstanding balances
Damage to rooms or property
Smoking in rooms or prohibited areas
Missing items
Additional cleaning costs
Breach of hotel policies
Guests must present valid photographic ID and the payment card used for the booking at check-in.

8. Check-In & Check-Out:
Check-in is from 2:00pm onwards. Early check-in is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Check-out is by 11:00am on the day of departure. Late check-out may be available and may incur an additional charge.

9. Pets:
Small well-behaved dogs are permitted in selected rooms only, subject to availability, at a charge of £20 per night.
A refundable £100 deposit or pre-authorisation may be taken to cover potential damage or additional cleaning costs.
Guests are fully responsible for any damage, disturbance, or additional costs caused by pets.

10. Smoking & Damage Policy:
The Hotel operates a strict non-smoking policy throughout the property.
Smoking in rooms or causing damage may result in a minimum charge of £150 to cover specialist cleaning, repairs, replacement costs, and associated loss of revenue.
Where costs exceed this amount, the Hotel reserves the right to recover reasonable additional expenses.

11. Parking:
Complimentary parking is available on a limited, first-come, first-served basis and is subject to availability.
Guests must register vehicle details at reception.
Vehicles and contents are parked at the owner’s risk. The Hotel accepts no liability for loss, theft, or damage.

12. Noise & Events:
The Hotel hosts events, functions, weddings, and live entertainment, particularly at weekends, which may continue until late evening.
While every reasonable effort is made to minimise disruption, some noise may be experienced.

13. Guest Conduct:
The Hotel reserves the right to refuse service, terminate a stay, or remove guests without refund where behaviour is abusive, disruptive, illegal, or causes risk, distress, or damage.

14. Liability:
The Hotel will exercise reasonable care and skill in providing its services.
The Hotel is not responsible for:
Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings
Items left unattended in rooms or vehicles
Failures or interruptions of third-party services
Indirect or consequential losses (including loss of enjoyment or profit)
Events beyond the Hotel’s reasonable control

15. Force Majeure:
The Hotel is not liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, government actions, utility failures, or other force majeure events.

16. Complaints:
Any complaint regarding a stay must be submitted in writing to: enquiries@dolphincambridge.com
Reception and management may provide reasonable operational assistance or adjustments during the stay where possible however, all formal complaints must be submitted via email to ensure they are properly recorded, reviewed, and responded to.

17. General:
All prices include VAT at the prevailing rate unless stated otherwise.
Special requests are noted but cannot be guaranteed.
The Hotel reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions. The version applicable is the one in force at the time of booking.
